When death occurs

We would assist with the necessary administrative and legal responsibilities and, if you wish, provide guidance on the funeral arrangements.

Legal and Administrative

The first requirement is that a Doctor should issue a Medical Certificate recording cause of death. From that moment, we - as Funeral Directors - would explain the legal and admin steps in detail, and how we could assist.

Apart from informing family and friends, others may need to be advised, such as solicitor, accountant, insurance company, etc. We can provide a helpful checklist.

Funeral Arrangements

Whether we receive precise instructions or are asked to help generally (liaising with church clergy, hospital, graveyard or cemetery personnel, registrar, etc.), we are on call immediately to assist, advise and begin undertaking our responsibilities.
